Always be my Maybe is definitely one of the more charming and relatable romantic-comedies I have seen in a long time. Excellently written, clear, focused direction, and commendable performances from Ali Wong and Randall Park make this one well worth a watch. Keanu Reeves’ inclusion is perfectly handled, and his charisma adds yet another layer to the humor and comical aspects of the story.


Even the cinematography (Tim Suhrstedt) and editing (Lee Haxall) are noteworthy, especially considering that technical elements are often secondary to the narrative in films of this nature. The music supervision and soundtrack are…
